Thanks to everybody that came to The Wellington in Birmingham on Sunday for the Rhythm, Reading and Rhyme Sessions with myself plus Paul McDonald and Roy McFarlane, lovely turn out. Thanks to Hayley Bellizia for some great pics from the afternoon. Here’s just a few.

CANCELLED …Rhythm, Reading & Rhyme Session… CANCELLED

Sorry to announce we have had to cancel today’s planned gig The Rhythm, Reading & Rhyme Session at The Wellington in Birmingham because of the extreme weather conditions and closing down of public transport. The gig has been rescheduled for next Sunday – 17th December. Tickets purchased will be valid or ticket money refunded to those that cannot make it.

Paul McDonald is Course Leader for Creative and Professional Writing at the University of Wolverhampton. He is a novelist, poet and critic. Roy McFarlane was born in Birmingham and now lives in the Black Country. He has held the role of Birmingham Poet Laureate and Starbuck Poet in Residence. His writing has appeared in

His poems have been included in anthologies, Out of Bounds (Bloodaxe 2012) and he’s the co-editor and writer for Celebrate Wha? (Smokestack 2011). Thanks to everyone who attended the gig at The Wellington pub in Birmingham yesterday afternoon. It was a great success, had some lovely feedback and the manager at the pub was really pleased with it as well, so there’ll be more happening there in future 🙂
